The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, camping, nature trips, and horses and is best used from March until October. Bandy Creek Campground is one of, if not the, nicest campground I’ve stayed in. The majority of the sites are shaded with plenty of room, nice picnic tables, bear safe food storage vaults, and fire pits. Plenty of garbage bins are close by so you don’t have to drag your trash around wondering where to put it.
